Very friendly and helpful. Pnly downsize is the layout. As with all of these stores it is crammed together which makes it hard to access with pushchairs, prams or wheelchairs.

Plenty parking space, staff pleasant but did have to wait for help but they were busy and only saw two people working the shoe/trainers section

B&M Home Store

Delves Lane, Consett, County Durham DH8 7ES, UK – 0330 838 9519

I really like this store. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. Only once have I met a bored member of staff! They sell an amazing range of products, bird food as you walk through the side entrance and gardening products such as gravel & plants through the front entrance. They sell tinned and packaged foods with a new freezer section recently opened. Then the Aladdin's cave of toy's, bedding, furniture, children's clothes, curtains, blinds, d.I.y, paints, car mats, cleaning products, pet food, garden spades and more! They are usually good quality just incredibly cheap compared to other shops/supermarkets.

Have just bought small side tables yesterday, and back again today for the Newsham coffee table, excellent value. Male member of staff on shopfloor small dark hair brought them out of stockroom and helped me to car. Fab customer service lovely helpful staff. Thank you. A White.

Lidl Consett

Great selection of food. Had a little of everything. Milkshakes and iced coffees are very good. Perfect for this time of year. Bought a whole load of drinks and lunch for an amazing bargain. Would recommend coming here for your shopping.

A favourite of my stores in general due to the affordability. I usually visit Lidl to purchase my strawberry white chocolate. I would say prices are better than any competitors. Hopefully the prices will stay cheap and not become extortionate. I would suggest better lighting, near the entrance and at the tills as it is dimly lit in those places. Also the entrance needs tidying up as the presentation looks sloppy. Also having to wait at the tills for one chocolate bar, in a full queue can be quite disheartening. The staff at the checkouts can sometimes be slow, and there needs to be multiple tills open and not just one. Staff are pleasant to deal with, they look approachable and would help with any queries I assume.
