Local Bookshops

Willow Burn Hospice Book Shop

5A Trafalgar St, Consett DH8 5AP, UK – 07501 066529

They have some of the best priced used books in town. Sometimes it's 25p for a paperback, sometimes 50p, but both are great prices. I enjoy going book hunting here the most out of all the charity shops in town. Clothes leave a lot to be desired, but there are a lot of games and toys.

Nice shop where my grandchildren love going to caurse books toys are good price

Barnardo's shop

Alan Godfrey Maps

Prospect Business Park, Consett DH8 7PW, UK – 01207 583388

Found an old well for a friend using the map. Now I want to see what My area looked like in1895.

I have bought quite a few of their maps and never fail to be happy with them. They come with a lot of historical information attached and when they are worn out, they are cheap and easy to replace
